Milfield to Cornhill-on-Tweed - 18 July 2026
Our last walk took us probably as far south as we normally go, all the way to Sedbergh in the Howgills. This time we are going up to the northwest as far as Cornhill-on-Tweed on the border with Scotland. However, this time its a lot quicker to get to the start of the routes then it was last time out. Our route takes us up the A1 and then the A697 road towards Wooler. Not long after Wooler the 11-mile route starts.
