Jedburgh to Morebattle - 20 June 2026
We seem to go to some destinations quite often but others it is sometimes years between. Morebattle is on of those destinations, the last time we were there was in March 2016 and the time before that was October 2013, although we walked from Kirk Yetholm on that occasion. Morebattle is a small border village east of Jedburgh and south of Kelso. Its main claim to fame in recent years, is that its part of the second stage of St Cuthbert's Way as it comes from Harestanes to Kirk Yetholm. This stage is one of the longer ones at 17.5 miles so Morebattle becomes one of the important stops on the way.
