The clocks have gone an hour forward and its time for us to go a bit further afield now we are into April. The last time we finished in Hawes was in 2024 but on that occasion we started at Ribblehead. The last time we started from Aysgarth was in September 2022. On that occasion severe thunderstorms were predicted so we cut down on the walks and stayed off the high ground. As it happened, the thunder did roll overhead but apart from one or two heavy rain showers that was about it.
